So it's been a long time since I've written. There has definitely been alot going on. First and for most with the baby............we have found out that she has a hole in her heart and that she will most likely have open heart surgery when she is born. We also thought that she had other problems that weren't fixable but test have proved that theory wrong!! Thank God!! I will be having her in Syracuse next week. The hospital specializes in heart defects in babies. I'm really not due until the 25th but since we live 3 hours away from Syracuse they didn't want me to go into natural labor so they will be inducing me early. (Tuesday!) I can't believe that the day is almost here---it seems as though I have been waiting forever but when I really start to think about it I start to worry that I'm not sure if I'm ready to go through the pain again!! We go tomorrow for a check up in Syracuse to see how things are progressing and to make sure that all the paper work is set for my admittance to the maternity ward. Saturday was my baby shower and I really got alot of great stuff that I'm sure will come in handy! We played games and ate tons of food!! My sister really out did herself!! It was a really good time and I completely enjoyed myself.....not to mention I think everyone who showed up had a good time as well!!!!! (lol)
On to the boys, the hockey season has started once again!! Which only makes me feel as though I've been pregnant for a year, seeing how I was pregnant at the end of last season!! But I love watching the boys play!! This year is only more exciting because Devlin has decided to play!! (Finally) He's a goalie and I think he enoys it! He's actually really good! Quinton has always been good at the sport! Which he should be since he's been on the ice since he was 2~~one of the only ones to be able to skate that long! Hard to believe it's been 8 years already, and Devlin is 8 this year and he's just starting. It's alittle hard right now with my big belly getting in the way but soon it's going to be gone and I'll be carrying the carrier instead! Pushing the stroller around the arena walking off the extra pounds----oh yeah I haven't gained anything but 2 pounds!! So I'll just be slimming down--that's going to be the fun part. Since I'll be able to shed some weight and end up smaller than I started out. The boys seems to be getting excited about our princess showing up. We'll be going down on Monday to get a room and relax in a pool, order room service and just be a family of 4 before we go to the hospital on Tuesday morning and turn 4 into 5. Hopefully, things will be ok and we'll be able to come home after only a couple days. I really don't want to stay there and have her go through surgery, I just want her to be healthy. O'well time will tell right?!
Hopefully, the apartment we're building will be worked on while we're down there. They are supposed to start on it today. We've had the layout complete for almost 3 weeks now. It's really fun to design ur own home. I really shouldn't call it an apartment it is 2400 square feet of living space!! Which is more than my parents place. 4 bedrooms, one playroom, 2 baths, laundry room, eat-in kitchen, dining room, and living room. Everyone will have their own room and the kids will all share the playroom which will just be a place for the playstation, x-box and whatever other games we buy them. Both the boys will have 2 beds in their rooms so that they can have guests come spend the night and have somewhere for them to sleep. I can't wait to move in--hopefully it will get worked on and within the month we'll be moving. When we get back from Syracuse is when the fun starts the ordering of cabinets, and carpets and windows and new furniture. Not to mention new appliances, the whirltub and shower and sink faucets. The boys already have their bedroom sets which are brand new and I'll get the baby's when we move in. She has a portable bassinet for now and that's all she's going to need for awhile. It'll give us time to move in. My bedroom set is only 2 years old which will fit nicely into my huge room!! Not sure what decorations I'll use for my bathroom but it's all soo exciting. Things are actually starting to go right for a change. I'll just keep counting my blessings and hope my little one comes home shortly and things will be perfect when we get into the new house and everyone is there. I hope to have X-mas dinner there. Since we will have the biggest place in the family. I'll have so much to be thankful for by then.
Anywho, I think I've updated enough for now.....not sure when I'll be on again, but wish me luck and say a little prayer for our little princess.
